Travel Field Service Technician
**Job Title: Field Service Technician** Job Description Join our dynamic team to work collaboratively in performing on-site valve and pump rebuilds, providing essential support services, and ensuring seamless operations in inventory and shipment management. Your contributions will directly support the growth and success of our business and customers. Responsibilities + Collaborate with team members to perform on-site valve rebuilds and positive displacement pump rebuilds. + Support on-site services for homogenizers and scrape surface heat exchangers. + Unpack shipment deliveries and perform a three-way match of packing lists to parts received and purchase orders. + Process inventory replenishment orders promptly to ensure proper storage. + Execute cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. + Manage shipment requirements including 'ship complete' and 'partial shipments'. + Schedule trucks for LTL and dedicated truckload shipments to meet project deadlines. + Prepare large equipment shipments by building protective crates and frames. + Process pick tickets for process components and parts pulled from inventory. + Package and ship parts orders for fulfillment of sales orders. + Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, parts catalog updates, and document archiving. Essential Skills + Proficient in using hand tools and power tools. + Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in maintenance tasks such as tear downs and reassembly. + Detail-oriented with a passion for quality work. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. + Self-motivated and hardworking with a sense of urgency. + Capable of reading manuals and retaining information on equipment. + Required to work overtime and weekends as needed. + Ability to learn and adapt to various business processes and procedures. + Enjoys collaborating closely with team members. + Forklift operation experience is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Willingness to travel regionally and work on holidays and weekends. + Experience with labeling, packing, and loading items for shipment according to specifications. + Capability to inspect and unload delivery vehicles. + Openness to other duties as assigned. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alpharetta, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
