Job Title: Travel Coordinator

Job Description

The Travel Coordinator is responsible for negotiating and managing all travel-related vendor relationships and technology programs, including airline, car rental, and hotel contracts. The role focuses on identifying opportunities for cost reductions without sacrificing service, while ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.

ResponsibilitiesNegotiate and coordinate travel-related vendor relationships and technology programs.Identify, recommend, and implement changes to current travel policies and procedures.Manage the relationship and provide direction to the contract travel agency contact to ensure service levels are maintained.Ensure NAS’ travel policies, procedures, and objectives comply with corporate guidelines.Reconcile all travel-related charges and accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of approved payments.Evaluate and recommend new technologies to control costs and improve travel efficiencies.Ensure travel requests, cash advances, and expense reports are complete, accurate, and have appropriate approvals and documentation.Conduct annual travel vendor reviews and update negotiated rate renewal contracts.Plan, reserve, and arrange international and domestic travel for employees and candidates.Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality service.Maintain records of unused tickets for future travel.Maintain corporate frequent flyer programs and utilize points for travel when possible.Oversee corporate credit card program(s) to ensure policy compliance.Oversee the use of NAS dishware.Essential SkillsExperience in travel coordination and management.Proficiency in accounting and audit processes.Skill in managing expenses, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Strong administrative support, clerical, and data entry skills.Ability to manage budgets and appointments efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in travel management and accounting.Background in audit and expense management.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
