**Job Title: Travel Assistant** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Travel Assistant to negotiate and coordinate relationships with travel vendors, including airlines, car rentals, and hotels. This role focuses on identifying opportunities for cost reductions without sacrificing service quality. You will be responsible for managing travel-related vendor relationships and technology programs. **Responsibilities** + Negotiate and coordinate travel-related vendor relationships and technology programs, including airline, car rental, and hotel contracts. + Identify, recommend, and implement changes to current travel policies and procedures to improve business processes. + Manage the relationship with the contracted travel agency, ensuring service levels are maintained. + Ensure travel policies, procedures, and objectives are executed in compliance with corporate guidelines. + Reconcile all travel-related charges and accounts, ensuring approved payments are processed timely. + Evaluate and recommend new technologies to control costs and improve travel efficiencies. + Ensure travel requests, cash advances, and expense report forms are complete, accurate, and have appropriate approvals and documentation. + Conduct annual travel vendor reviews and update negotiated rate renewal contracts. + Plan, reserve, and arrange international and domestic travel for employees and candidates. + Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality service. + Maintain records of unused tickets for future travel. + Manage corporate frequent flyer programs and use points for travel when applicable. + Oversee corporate credit card programs to ensure policy compliance. + Oversee use of NAS dishware. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in travel coordination and management. + Experience in auditing and administrative support. + Clerical and data entry skills. + Accounting expertise, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. + Strong expense and budget management capabilities. + Appointment scheduling and travel management skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in travel management and accounting. + Audit knowledge. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values innovation and efficiency in travel management.
