We are looking for a Transportation Project Manager motivated to hit the ground running and pursuing projects that meet your interests. Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible in your community.
In the role of a Transportation Project Manager Engineering, we'll count on you to:
Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development and initiation to close-out)Responsible for driving all aspects of project deliveryEstablish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsConduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholdersCoordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on scheduleCollaborate with discipline leads and have general knowledge of the environmental and right-of-way acquisition processes. Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and scheduleWork with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviewsImplement QA/QC proceduresSupervise engineering staff at both the PE and EIT levelsExpected to be active in the professional industry with one or more organizations such as APWA, ACEC, ASCE, WTS, etcCollaborate with team leads and marketing staff to establish both long term and short term strategy and goals for business development.Perform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsPrevious Experience as a Project Manager for transportation projectsExperience supervising engineering staffExperience developing scopes and budgets for projectsPMP certificationExperience proposing and interviewing for projects with one of the following (WSDOT, Sound Transit, Local Agencies such as Cities and Counties)Experience delivering Federally Funded projects.#LI-CV1
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience A minimum 2 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
