Join a dynamic team within the Transportation Operations department, where you will play a crucial role in managing daily freight movements across North American fulfillment centers. ResponsibilitiesMaintain continual, tactical communication and account management with external customers including carriers and vendors/suppliers.Extract data from various databases using tools such as Excel, Access, SQL, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.Review appointment and arrival data, making business decisions and process improvements based on reported data.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to create narratives outlining weekly findings and variances to goals, and present these findings in review forums.Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes, identifying and eliminating root causes of defects to drive efficiency.Systematically escalate issues or variances in data to relevant owners and teams, ensuring resolutions are delivered.Develop performance metrics to assist in driving business results.Define business and functional requirements for tech teams to enhance software systems and tools.Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
Essential SkillsProficiency in data analysis and the ability to recognize trends.Experience in transportation, freight, and third-party logistics.Strong vendor management and logistics skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.
Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience in logistics or transportation.Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Bachelor's degree is a plus.Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.Data management and data quality control experience.Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement.Self-starter with a passion for data and trend spotting.
Work Environment
This role requires being in the office full-time, five days a week. It includes morning team meetings, tracking and tracing loads, communicating with customers, scheduling shipments, and handling escalations. Interaction with the team involves regular syncs and daily communication for day-to-day operations. The work environment is team-oriented, with opportunities for team outings and engagement activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
