Responsibilities

Lead transportation project design from concept through constructionPerform engineering computations, develop construction plans, layouts, and technical reportsSupervise and mentor junior engineers throughout project design phasesApply and train others in transportation design standards including AASHTO, GDOT, FHWA, and local guidelinesPrepare cost estimates, specifications, and bid documentsManage project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet expectationsConduct field work including erosion and construction inspections, site visits, and client meetingsCoordinate with internal teams, clients, subconsultants, and the publicAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology6+ years of experience in roadway design and engineeringP.E preferred but not required (must have EiT)Proficiency in Bentley InRoads, OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication and time management skillsAbility to work remotely full-time with occasional in-person site visits and meetings

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucker, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $63.00/hr.
