Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join their team. As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be part of the supply chain management supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Transportation Coordinator
**Location:** This position can sit completely remote, but candidates must be located near St. Louis, MO, Denver, CO, Crete, NE, Davenport, IA, Clinton, IA, or Flagstaff, AZ for training purposes.
**What's the Job?**
+ Timely follow up on loads to determine on-time delivery or correct reason code to be applied if failure for on-time delivery.
+ Daily load tracking in FourKites, ensuring proactive analysis to prevent service failures.
+ Maintain consistent and professional communications with carriers and customers.
+ Manage financial procedures and operating metrics to ensure efficiency.
+ Support the Transportation Manager with on-time reporting and other assigned reporting functions.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma; college education preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in Customer Service within a manufacturing or transportation environment.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work fluently in web-based systems such as SAP and Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
