Role Purpose
The Transport Services Supervisor leads and oversees the comprehensive transportation operations for multiple client sites, managing a team of transport coordinators while ensuring seamless employee transport services for social and non-sociable hours. This senior role encompasses strategic planning, budget oversight, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership to deliver exceptional transport solutions in accordance with local law and company policy. The position requires advanced analytical capabilities and strategic thinking to optimize transport operations across complex, multi-site portfolios.

Leading and mentoring a team of transport coordinators and support staff across multiple locationsDeveloping and implementing strategic transport policies, procedures, and service standardsManaging transport budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and financial forecastingOverseeing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance management for transportation providersConducting comprehensive analytics and reporting on transport KPIs, utilization metrics, and service qualityLeading crisis management and business continuity planning for transport disruptions (strikes, extreme weather, security incidents)Driving technology initiatives and digital transformation projects for transport management systemsEnsuring regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions and maintaining audit readinessManaging escalated complaints and conducting root cause analysis for service improvementsCollaborating with senior stakeholders, client management teams, and external partnersLeading continuous improvement initiatives and best practice implementation Overseeing training and development programs for transport team members Strategic planning for transport service expansion and optimizationAll other leadership duties and strategic initiatives as assignedEvery day brings new challenges, and we encourage you to demonstrate leadership excellence and strategic innovation.Sound like you? Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent senior-level experience in transportation/facilities managementMinimum 5-7 years progressive experience in transport operations, with 3+ years in supervisory rolesAdvanced analytical skills including proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and transport management systemsProven experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures and policy frameworksDemonstrated expertise in budget management, cost control, and financial analysisStrong vendor management and contract negotiation experienceExcellent leadership and team development capabilitiesAdvanced communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholder engagementStrategic thinking and change management experienceCrisis management and business continuity planning experienceKnowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirementsProject management certification or experience preferredProven track record of driving process improvements and operational excellenceWhat you can expect from us
