Transition Project Manager
Transition Project Manager Aon is undergoing significant transformation, strengthening the way we deliver services across global regions, capability centers, vendors, and solution lines. To support this journey, we are expanding our Transition & Program Management capability and are seeking a Transition Project Manager with strong experience in managing complex, global initiatives and delivering operational change. What the day will look like Develop and manage clear transition plans that ensure effective and timely delivery. Lead process analysis and improvement initiatives, ensuring progress is accurately monitored and controlled. Create cohesive, effective partnerships with leaders through consistent, transparent communication. Apply your broad understanding of transition environments to identify risks and define mitigation strategies. Provide regular monitoring, controlling, and reporting of transition progress to key stakeholders. Work with finance partners to ensure costs, benefits, and business case elements are accurately tracked. Promote strong collaboration between Aon’s Global Capability Centers, operational leaders, solution lines, and global partners. Establish and achieve operational targets and metrics related to transition and migration activities. How this opportunity is different As a Transition Manager, you will play a critical role in governing global transitions and system‑related initiatives. You will act as a subject matter expert in structured transition delivery, ensuring projects are executed in alignment with Aon’s strategic priorities. Your success will depend on your ability to deeply understand business needs, translate them into actionable transition plans, and build strong, trusted relationships across regions, functions, and centers. Skills and experience that will lead to success Proven experience in transition management or project management within a global or complex environment University degree, ideally in Project Management, Business or a related field Fluent English (C1 CEFR) Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to ensure consistency and direction across matrixed structures Strong ability to drive and lead change, support decision‑making, and execute programs in a highly matrixed organization Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with challenging stakeholders, quickly establish trust, and build new relationships with each transition project Proven ability to analyze data, check accuracy, assess change impact, and identify risks A collaborative mindset with the ability to deliver quick turnaround and high‑quality output High attention to detail, ensuring quality and accuracy in all deliverables How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
