Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets Transfer Pricing team is a key part of the global Commodities and Global Markets Finance Division and serves as the primary transfer pricing contact for the business. You will deliver expert transfer pricing advice for new and complex financial services, providing strategic guidance and resolving day-to-day challenges in implementation and operation. You will manage all transfer pricing financial reporting requirements, overseeing month, quarter, and year-end processes, and preparing thorough documentation across various jurisdictions in accordance with legislative and regulatory standards. Working closely with Finance, you will drive strategic initiatives to ensure compliance and operational excellence in transfer pricing.

Your role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including business units, tax teams, finance, and external advisors, while actively contributing to transfer pricing governance and risk management. You will conduct research on recent cases, legislation, and government developments, sharing insights and identifying industry trends and best practices. Additionally, you will identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, data quality enhancement, and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy, ensuring transfer pricing documentation aligns with evolving regulatory requirements.

Transfer pricing technical knowledge based on OECD, with knowledge and strong knowledge on Australia Transfer Pricing rules and awareness of UK and US Transfer PricingPrevious experience in a transfer pricing environment, whether in a chartered accounting practice or large corporate, with a preference for those who have dealt with commodities or banking, financial and capital market transactionsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of developing and maintaining relationships both within and outside the organisationAn analytical mind with the ability to tackle complex transfer pricing issues.
