\n\t\t\t\t\tMust haves:\nBachelor's in business, economics or finance since 2021 or more recent\nInternship experience OR experience within a customer facing setting (ex. - hospitality, banking, collections, financial planning, loan processing, B2B)\n\nThe Transactions Specialist \"Operations Associate Contractor\" role at Vanguard Charitable is responsible for assisting in donor and non-profit conversations and acting on the receipt and processing of financial transactions in our recordkeeping system. It is expected that working with donors, charities, and staff members within the organization, will be part of the many activities this role will use to facilitate donor requests.\n \nThis is a cross-department role, trained in several Operation disciplines and activities noted below, and working in various areas as the workload requires.\n\nJob description:\n- Complete routine data entry for financial transactions (contributions, grants, exchanges) and account information\n- Maintain an understanding of VC and IRS approved charitable donation policies and practices\n- Apply a general knowledge of assigned transactions upon successful completion of training\n- Support and sort inbound and outbound mail procedures\n- Support transactional processes related to delivery of a grant, via check or electronically\n- Respond to inbound calls and emails from clients and charities\n- Achieve and maintain a high level of accuracy with functional skills, desktop applications and appropriate workplace equipment. and applications\n- Demonstrate a good proficiency and understanding of VC’s policies and guidelines for our clients\n- Possess a high level of professionalism and customer service\n- Provide back-up and support team members as needed\n- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback as applicable\n- Exercise highest level of confidentiality and discretion with client and account information\n- Other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
