TRAINING SPECIALIST ADVISOR (LEAD WARSIM INSTRUCTOR/CONTROLLER): SECRET clearance required

GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

The Lead Constructive Simulation Instructor prepares and delivers Constructive Simulation training based on event trainingTests and troubleshoots both hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems using capability documents and performance of operational readiness tests in preparation for training events; analyzes and documents flaws in system configuration and implements correctionsCoordinates the development and delivery of complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives                      Encourage innovation and continuous learning among the team                 Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities                                  Plans, coordinates, and conducts training and related instructional programs for customer personnel              ��                       Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectivenessProvides guidance and leadership work to less experienced instructorsParticipates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: AA/AS in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and trainingRequired Experience: 7+ years of related work experience; Advanced knowledge of both information technology and business issuesRequired Technical Skills:Proficient knowledge of Army War Fighting Functions: Mission Command, Movement and Maneuver, Intelligence, Fires, Sustainment, Protection; along with Orders of battle to accurately simulate scenarios.Build and manage databases for simulation platforms like JLCCTC, DXTRS and JCATSPerforms system and scenario database management across distributed simulation environments, ensuring HLA/DIS-compliant integration with Mission Command Systems and full data integrity for multi-echelon trainingProficient knowledge of JLCCTC-MRF/ WARSIM functional operations and Low-Overhead-Driver (LOD)Operational understanding of SISOKnowledge of how to set up, configure, and troubleshoot various platforms within WARSIM; Knowledge of how to integrate live data stream (fires, sensors, reports); Knowledge of how to integrate C2 systems; Experience with importing LDIF; SCENGEN experience desired; LOGFED experience desired

Certification: Comp TIA SEC+ certification requiredSecurity Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.Required Skills and Abilities:Superb communication skills: strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on WARSIMAbility to develop advanced training solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Comprehensive knowledge for the planning and designing of instructional methods and materialsAbility to develop advanced measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventionsDemonstrated effective presentationAdvanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programsAdvanced knowledge of relevant technology or subject matterComprehensive knowledge of related hardware and softwareCoach and review the work of less experienced professionalsExpert knowledge of the JELC processMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 40lbsPreferred Skills:Intelligence WFF experienceWIM experienceExperience with SCENGEN desiredLocation: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AOR
