Job Summary
Coordinates, prepares, and conducts training for all staff. Specializes in teller, member services, lending, and compliance training. Is well versed in credit union wide culture and implementation of sales and service techniques. Conducts sales and service training for all staff. Assists with evaluating current practices, delivering the training development plans and helps to maintain current training material.
Responsibilities and Duties
+ Deliver training to new employees as assigned such as compliance, teller, member services, and lending.
+ Deliver sales and service technique training to new employees as assigned. Implement sales and service technique refresher training as necessary.
+ Manage assignments and run reports of employees’ progress in online training platform. Inform employees’ direct reports as necessary of the employees’ progress.
+ Maintain calendar of employee training events and notify management of those that have not been completed.
+ Provide other administrative support as assigned.
+ Update and coordinate written and online training materials.
+ Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies.
Qualifications and Skills
+ Two to Five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
+ A high school degree or GED is required.
+ A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
