We’re actively hiring aTrailer Mechanicto join our dedicated team at one of Jacksonville’s most respected employers—recognized as a top workplace five years in a row.** **What You’ll Do** + Perform maintenance and repairs on semi-truck chassis, including brake and lighting systems. + Change tires and conduct routine inspections on tractor trailers. + Repair and refurbish 53-foot cargo containers—welding, replacing floorboards, and repainting. + Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance. + Use a variety of tools including hand tools, impact tools, and air-powered equipment. **What We’re Looking For** + Solid experience in trailer or fleet maintenance. + Proficiency in MIG welding and mechanical repair. + Strong understanding of brake systems, wiring, and chassis components. + Ability to read blueprints and follow DOT regulations. + Mechanically inclined—welding or carpentry is a plus. **Tools You’ll Need** Bring your own mobile tool storage unit and essential tools such as: + Hand wrenches, socket sets, screwdrivers, hammers, chisels + Wire stripper, utility knife, air impact wrench, air drill, hydraulic riveter **Why You’ll Love Working Here** + Be part of a supportive, skilled team of 12–15 mechanics. + Work in a spacious open-bay trailer shop with large fans for ventilation. + Enjoy job stability and growth opportunities with a company that values its people. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
