Our **Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD)** is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.
The Traffic department consists of 3 sections, including Ocean, Truck & Air Freight, featuring a team member who handles the first level of escalation for complaints and other issues, ensures the coordination of all operations, and makes decisions within the assigned authority when necessary.
**Schedule:** Full-time – 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM) – Will be part of a rotation schedule to process Saturday shipments.
**Main Responsibilities**
+ First point of contact in the absence of the supervisor;
+ First escalation level within the traffic department regarding collection and delivery orders;
+ Daily coordination and efficient planning of operational and administrative cooperation within traffic, as well as problem-solving;
+ Planning of Air Freight and Road Freight shipments;
+ Creating dealer vacation schedules and adjusting the loading plan accordingly;
+ Retrieving existing invoices in CRM;
+ Checking all completed documents related to customs procedures and creating manual customs shipments if necessary;
+ Monitoring EWM grievances and incident tickets (Lisa);
+ Reviewing and implementing optimizations for existing processes and discussing these with the supervisor.

**Requirements**
+ Good knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus;
+ Strong interpersonal skills. Accuracy with an eye for detail;
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
+ Liaising with customs services, loading/unloading services, and the supervisor to discuss and resolve issues and implement improvements;
+ Knowledge of IATA and Hazmat, as well as good insight into cost structures and various transport modes;
+ Strong negotiation skills;
+ IT skills: Good knowledge of standard PC software.

**Transportation:** Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers.
