Trading VP - FX Swaps

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join our Macro (Rates & FX) Trading team. This position would involve working with a team across Asia, EMEA, and the Americas.


In this role, you will:

Be part of the Macro trading team in NY which encompasses trading, sales relationships, and client pricingPerform daily risk management duties for all aspects of the Rates swaps portfolioExhibit strong analytical and quantitative skills.  Be able to work well under pressure and be part of a global teamWork with the global team to dictate consistent, efficient, and timely pricing for all our clientsBe able to build a franchise by fostering current customer relationships and onboarding new prospects.Help build analytical tools that improve our risk management capabilities and customer engagement.


Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

6+ years of trading experience in FX swapsStrong sense of urgency and commitment as well as a strong business sense with a strategic and tactical orientation.Consistent track record of strong PnLIn depth understanding of technological, risk and regulatory trends impacting Macro businessTechnical expertise in regulatory, compliance, and risk management issues.Ability to analyze data and use for decision-making and managing initiatives.Successful track record in systematically executing initiatives using project management disciplines.Highest level of integrity and good judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality.Strong stakeholder skills and ability to work and lead across functions.Strong commercial judgement, excellent communication and influencing skills.Comfortable working in a matrix organizational environment and partnership skills.Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field


Job Expectations:

This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. This position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen. Applicants are subject to a new screen to comply with Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act which states that Associated Persons (AP) cannot be subject to statutory disqualification. Under industry regulations, an AP is defined as a team member who solicits or accepts client orders for swaps. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
