As a Trading Services Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the execution and processing of trade orders, ensuring the smooth operation of our trading and portfolio management businesses. Your work will have a significant impact within your team, contributing to the overall performance of our trading services. Your responsibilities span from supporting order execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all trade activities. You will leverage your developing knowledge of market products and automation technologies to optimize our operating platform. Your ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement will be developed in this role, as you work to enhance our processes and systems. With a focus on collaboration, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, while developing your influence and presentation skills to communicate data-driven insights and collaborate in impactful decisions. Your work will have a direct impact on our team's performance and the achievement of our short-term operational goals.
Job responsibilities Process transactions accurately in line with SOPs, ensuring no errors.Identify and escalate all errors and exceptions upon identification.Escalate issues and follow up in a timely manner.Respond to and resolve inquiries promptly.Comply with the firm's policies, SOPs, and checkpoints.Navigate systems quickly and accurately.Work with various internal teams, such as Onshore Trade Support and Settlements, to resolve exceptions in a timely manner.Partner with the technology strategy team to help identify internal and external technology improvement opportunities to reduce or eliminate risk.Ensure all day-to-day queries are addressed within required SLAs and escalate issues to management as needed.Monitor and adhere to daily workflow queues, ensuring all work is completed each day.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant banking experienceDerivatives Systems knowledge (JPMC or Banking Systems)PC Literate MS Excel/ Word/ Access requiredUnderstanding of Derivative / Fixed Income life cycle of a trade.Good understanding of the control environment. Has risk and control awareness.Middle office exposure – Trade Support, booking amendment, Reconciliation & Controls Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Further education, Masters. (Commerce/ Accounts preferred)Strong relationship-building, influencing, and conflict management skills, with excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal abilities to resolve issues and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Effective presentation and negotiation skills, combined with an innovative mindset focused on continuous process improvement, and a willingness to be flexible in a team-oriented environment.
