About the role: CLA is looking to hire an operations associate to join our trading team in Madison, WI or in Minneapolis, MN. This role is working in our office.Summary
This role is responsible for the day-to-day trading operation of the Wealth service line. They are also responsible for supporting the long term vision of the firm, including Seamless Integration. This includes participating in the client trading on-boarding and off-boarding processes, trading projects, investment team projects, training and using technology to facilitate communication both within and outside of wealth advisory.
Essential Job Functions
• Use of Tamarac Rebalancer/CRM
• Assist Advisors in reviewing for tax purposes, cash holds and policy questions
• Monitoring Policies for Compliance/Operations for Consistent client experience
• Account Set-up Reviews
• Assist in Allocation Rebalancing/Tax Loss Harvesting
• Operations: Work with the with Director of Portfolio Implementation & Managing Director of Investments to support all trading/investment needs of wealth advisors for the investment advisory business. Responsible for knowing and understanding all functionality of the CRM, portfolio accounting and other key systems. May help in the production of Assets Under Management and other tracking reports that are used by the firm to manage the business.
• Billing: helping the billing team in cash raising for quarterly/yearly fees.
• External Client Support: Provide high quality service to prospective/existing clients and co-workers through timely, courteous, respectful and helpful communication. Assist with service requests from clients.
• Internal Support: Work with Director of Portfolio Implementation & Managing Director of Investments on special investment advisory projects.
• Administrative: Enter and maintain client information (data) in client databases and systems. Perform other job-related duties and/or special projects as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
• 4 year degree completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience
• 1 year experience preferred

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $48,700 – $85,000.
