Beacon Hill Legal's client, a national law firm located in Midtown, Manhattan, is seeking a Trademark Paralegal for a temporary-to-hire coverage. Candidates must have 6+ years of experience managing domestic and intellectual property portfolios and possess proficiency with USPTO filings.

Candidates must be comfortable commuting to the firm's office four times a week and hybrid one. Pay rate is dependent on experience and starts at $40/hr.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of domestic and international trademark portfolios which include drafting and filing applications, Statements of Use, and maintenance/renewal documents.Conduct and analyze preliminary "knock-out" searches using SAEGIS or Corsearch.Assist in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings by gathering evidence of use, drafting notices of opposition, and managing discovery timelines.Maintain and optimize complex docketing systems CPI to ensure zero missed deadlines

Requirements

6+ years of dedicated trademark prosecution experience in a law firm.Ability to commute to the office four times a week Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program; NALA CP/ACP or NFPA credentials preferred.Mastery of USPTO TEAS and familiarity with WIPO Madrid Protocol filings.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and IP management software (CPI or equivalent); Corsearch/SAEGIS.Familiarity with copyright registrations and domain name disputes (UDRP).
