As a Trade Support - Associate in the Trading Services team, you'll be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions, complete reconciliation checks, and ensure controls are performed.

Job responsibilities

Capture all transactions in the Risk Management Systems in a timely and accurate manner.Complete intraday and end-of-day processes, including completeness and reconciliation checks, to ensure new trading activity and general book management are processed accurately.Collaborate closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a ‘one team approach’.Perform, complete, and sign off all controls diligently and on a timely basis.Communicate clearly and concisely with all support teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of queries.Participate and contribute to various strategic initiatives; improve and evolve processes and business architecture.Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both financial and operational perspectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Understand all relevant derivatives and hedging products (Equity Swaps, Equity Futures, Equity Forwards, Equity Options, Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency swaps, FX Spot and FX Forward, Convertible Bonds, Corporate Bonds)Comprehension of the risks (Market Risk, Greeks) and PnL associated with the use of derivativesKnowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teamsUnderstand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral, etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areasMust have clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriateAttention to details and sense of ownershipGreat team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environmentPossess strong analytical and numerical skillsStrong problem solving, control, and project management skills
