Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Trade Marketing Specialist to lead and implement innovative trade marketing strategies across retail, on-premise, and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will align these strategies with brand and sales objectives to enhance market presence and drive growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and promotional plans across various channels.Create and manage point-of-sale materials, displays, and trade collateral to engage retailers and distributors.Plan and execute seasonal and evergreen trade campaigns, including events, tastings, activations, and shopper marketing programs.Collaborate closely with sales, distributor, and retail teams for joint business planning and effective market execution.Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and distributor partners to support sales growth.Ensure consistent brand representation and adherence to brand standards in all trade activities.Manage budgets for trade marketing projects, covering materials production, activation costs, and event execution.Track and analyze the effectiveness of programs, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.Identify new merchandising and promotional opportunities within key accounts and emerging channels.Collaborate with creative, digital, and marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns.Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to enhance brand positioning.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing, sales, and operations.Support legal and compliance requirements for promotions and consumer-facing initiatives.Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing programs, providing performance reports.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field, preferably 6–10 years within the wine or spirits industry.Strong knowledge of retail and on-premise environments.Proven success in managing big box trade campaigns, POS, and distributor/retailer partnerships.Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.Analytical and results-driven mindset.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Passion for the wine industry, branding, and consumer engagement.Proficiency in marketing communications and Adobe Creative Suite.

Work Environment

The role is based on-site, working closely with a team of five marketing professionals within a company of 150 employees. The environment fosters growth and collaboration, providing opportunities to work with amazing clients and run your own marketing initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
