Forming part of the Marketing, Events and Media team, within the wider Marketing, PR and communication team, the Trade Marketing function is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive the success of EU retail, concession and wholesale stores. The team works in collaboration with the wider organisation to ensure an integrated and customer-focused approach across all trade marketing activations. This role will support EMEA Wholesale Marketing, specifically, reporting directly to the Wholesale Marketing Manager.
You are hands-on, collaborative, and a creative thinker who is passionate about marketing and consumer behaviour. You have outstanding communication skills, can effectively work with and influence colleagues as well as internal and external partners. Someone who thrives in a rapidly changing environment, bringing fresh thinking to the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns. You are highly organised, a keen learner and self-motivated, able to work well under deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
What You’ll Do:
Support the Marketing Manager in the timely development and delivery of high-impact, cost-effective marketing plans in support of seasonal activity and events across all Wholesale Partner and Concession channels within the EMEA region.Collaborate with the cross-functional teams in the development of marketing initiatives and multichannel 360 campaigns with a focus on engaging in-store customer experiences, pop-ups and events, influencer partnerships and digital campaignsProactively collaborate across divisions, ensuring efficient communications to deliver consistent brand messaging and create a cohesive customer journey across all touchpoints Work in partnership with the internal digital teams to innovate and implement digital & social drive to store initiativesEffective end-to-end management & co-ordination of all stages of campaign development from initial brief through to design sign off, costings, eventual delivery into stores within the requested timeframe and monitoring resultsFoster strong and transparent relationships with internal and external stakeholdersFacilitate store-led clienteling initiatives/ appointments, both virtual and in-store – provide seasonal tools and manage GWP allocationShare seasonal assets and regular updates with wholesale partners - leverage their channels to amplify marketing activations and ensure global alignmentEffectively manage day-to-day communications with wholesale partnersDevelop strong partnerships within the Sales team to foster new ideas and explore new opportunities aligned to Sales growth/prioritiesIdentify and present strategic opportunities that meet Michael Kors business objectives for Wholesale Partners (all product categories across MMK, Men's and Kids) Manage the project's budget and report on ROI Stay current and knowledgeable on new developments, trends and technologies in the luxury and fashion industry spaceCreate compelling reports about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscapeBring new and innovative ideas that can be developed into marketing initiativesMarket visits within the EMEA region for the launch of projectsYou’ll Need to Have:
At least 3-5 years of Marketing experience, preferably in the luxury sector, including experience within Wholesale Well-versed in all aspects of Marketing with a strong brand judgement and understanding of the luxury industryProven success in planning and delivering campaigns, including in-store and across digital channelsOrganised, efficient ways of working at all times, owning projects and managing project files and trackersExemplary written and oral communicationsKnowledge of a second European language is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT, and OutlookProactive and insightful analytical and problem-solving skillsAmbitious, strategic 360 thinking is a mustThrive in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environmentBachelor’s degree or equivalentWe’d Love to See:
