As a Trade Lifecycle Manager III within JPMorganChase, you will be responsible for the operational management and control of the daily workflow within Client Instruction Capture and Settlements.

Role is part of Client Instruction Capture and Settlements, managing Trades Processing, Broker Facing and Fails Management, Trades Support

Job Responsibilities

Manage the workflow and lifecycle of Custody Trades, ensuring smooth operations and control within the Custody Team.Monitor and manage trade capture, fails management, and settlement activities, addressing discrepancies and responding to queries promptly.Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning, training, and succession planning to ensure a robust team structure.Communicate strategic and regulatory changes to the department, ensuring staff awareness and understanding.Review and update Standard Operating Procedures in line with new policies and risk management activities.Lead strategic, process improvement, and regulatory projects for Custody Products, identifying impacts and collaborating with stakeholders.

Maintain a robust governance process for project delivery, using frameworks, methodologies, and reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5+ years of management experience in an Operations role, demonstrating strong people management skills in a team-oriented environment.Operational subject matter expertise in Settlements, Fails Management, Trade Support, Risk and Control, and Custody.Strong ability to learn and adapt to new markets, products, and processes continuously.Strong risk and control awareness, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet critical deadlines effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of partnering with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives and subject matter experts.Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently identify and escalate key issues, analyze information, and develop actionable recommendations.Flexible teamwork skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels, including internal teams, external clients, and third-party service providers.Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and ensure the organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change, with strong strategic thinking and analytical skills for process improvements.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Global Custody or Local Custody background.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred.Experience in driving projects and initiative.sFamiliarity with swift messages specifically MT54 series.Good knowledge in MS Office Suite applications - MS Word, Excel and Power Point.Capable of working under pressure and to cope with changing volumes, whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.Flexibility working on APAC and late APAC shift.
