As a Data Operations Senior Associate in Wm Recon COE, you conduct independent analysis to uncover patterns leading to new questions and solutions through data collection, integrity, utilization, requirements, and analysis. You apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope. Use your elevated technical skills to support the design and development of metrics reporting and dashboards to enable Operations Management to execute their strategic objectives and ensure conformance with all controls, policies, and procedures. You'll participate in projects and provide support for various initiatives and any associated business transformation projects supporting Wm Reconciliations Center of Excellence. You may be involved in multiple projects or initiatives, working across the whole project lifecycle, researching new projects, business process changes, configuration changes or system modifications. Through strong partnership with Business, Operations and Technology counterparts, you'll work on project deliverables. Primary areas of focus include eliciting project or initiative requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. Role will expect once to drive process improvements and collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve excellence in recon operations.

Job responsibilities

Lead and manage reconciliation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.Contributes to the delivery of information, insights, and solutions that inform business strategies and decisions by making recommendations for managing more complex situationsEvaluates information and processes for analysis and reporting purposesValidates hypotheses, mitigates risks, and optimizes solutionsContributes significantly to the development of predictive models and data insightsSources and structures datasets to build graphical visualizations and programing decision-support dashboards, utilizing Intelligence Automation to help with operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and process optimization where strategic solutions are not feasibleCollaborates on functional requirements from stakeholders and translates into technical and data requirements 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Minimum 5 years of Project experience and proven ability to gather/analyze complex data and develop accurate conclusions with sufficient comprehension of the business to understand risk implicationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required in Business/FinanceExperience within a reconciliation or financial services environment. Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and tools, with expertise in iRecsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Hands on experience in Alteryx/Tableau- experience with data visualization and reporting toolsTeam player that works well with others and can easily adapt to constant changing and dynamic environmentsHighly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused with ability to work independentlyAbility to positively influence change and maintain a positive change management environmentIntermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
