As a Manager in Investment Middle Office Service (IMOS), you will manage daily post-trade operations, including trade matching, settlement, and reconciliations. Leading a team of Reconciliation specialists, you'll ensure performance meets objectives and resolve exceptions. You'll collaborate with global teams to address trade issues and support new business initiatives. Strong knowledge of financial products, leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.

IMOS RECONCILIATIONS provides reconciliation services covering the following:

Cash Reconciliations at Client Account, Client to Custody and Fund Account and Middle Office Book of RecordsAsset Reconciliations at Client Account, Client to Custody and Fund Account and Middle Office Book of RecordsOther Reconciliations by Asset Class, stand-alone and bespoke reconciliations supporting regulatory client or product requirements.

Job responsibilities:

Lead a team of Reconciliations specialists – promoting an inclusive environment, providing coaching and monitoring performance based on clear objectives, goals and targets.Perform balance and transactional reconciliation of client records against street (custody / transfer agency/ brokers) from providing root cause analysis to resolving exceptions, and participate with systems testing or enhancements and various projects/initiatives – BAU or non-BAU.Completes operational balancing and reconciliations and identification of breaks.Performs routine inquiries and research from the stakeholders.Completes regular and Ad hoc reporting required from the process.Partner with various global teams (internal and external) to resolve exceptions and trade issues: Client facing teams to communicate and resolve client issues; Broker/custodians and other relevant parties to meet settlement and market cut-offs; Technology to report and solution system bugs/incidents.Lead and support global and local projects on digital solutions, system enhancements, and market rule changes, and manage new business initiatives from clients to support the business expansion opportunities.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

Knowledge of financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Collateral, Derivatives, Money Market, Cash ProductsDemonstrated leadership abilities and team oriented individual with strong people management skillsAbility to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with cross functional teamsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to proactively identify risks and escalate issues, undertaking the investigation required with the goal of resolving issuesStrong analytical and problem solving skills with the initiative to drive change and enhance controlsAbility to thrive in a changing work environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

Prior knowledge of the trade lifecycle, fund accounting and/or experience supporting trade businessSelf-starter who works in a fast paced, results driven environment with excellent multitasking and prioritization skillsGood working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and WordExperience in automation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath, Xceptor, Instabase
