As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of pre- and post-trading life cycles across all asset classes, with a primary focus on cash movements in and out of client accounts and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts. You will coordinate with other business lines to ensure proper funding, applying your knowledge of trade lifecycle processes to identify and resolve issues while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. Your success will depend on your ability to actively listen, ask insightful questions, and establish productive relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as manage projects and influence outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of market products and emerging technologies, directly impacting the team's goals and performance. Job responsibilitiesUnderstand technical infrastructure that supports the business & effectively utilizes infrastructure for daily tasks. Ensure all transactions are correctly matched for smooth settlementPre-match and settlement of Fixed Income trades ( including Priority client focus ) Manage management, cross depot stock movements - identify and instruct Payment processing SBL intraday activity, escalation and resolution of failing tradesInstruct bond conversions - Include physical and ADRs. Validate of interest claims, Auto-borrow reports, Daily High/Credit Risk reporting. Resolve Cash and Stock breaks working closely with Reconciliations team and verification of manual instructionsContinuously participate in projects involving new system implementation, process improvements. Take ownership of work, problems, clarify issues / objections, and ensure data integrity, accuracy and completenessWorking closely with the Business (Desk Heads, Global and Regional Business Managers) to understand their needs / priorities / issuesWork closely with technology partners to design the right solutions and implement requirements for future state, focusing on the priorities and efficiency saves. Perform cost benefit analysis to propose optimum future process to the businessGather for the build of the future state, clearly documenting workflows, E2E processes, controls along the lifecycle and new roles and responsibilitiesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsGraduate in any fieldA strong control mindset and adherence to a high degree of business ethicsIn-depth experience with Fixed Income products and global marketsExcellent communication skillsAbility to pick up complex systems architecture easilyExperience in driving global initiatives and affecting change in a large organizationPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in Economics or Industrial Engineering enhancing understanding of complex financial operations.Experience in finance industry operations, demonstrating capability in managing and optimizing financial processes.Proficiency in VBA, adding value through automation and efficiency improvements in financial operations.
