Trade Business Analyst
Job Title: Trade Business Analyst

Job Description

The Trade Business Analyst will conduct operational analyses that support informed decision-making within the business unit, under the guidance of a Sr. Business Analyst or immediate supervisor. This role involves managing special projects, performing quantitative and qualitative research, designing and modifying processes, and developing reports.

ResponsibilitiesEnter trades into the SOX Application and execute end-of-day recaps and reports.Verify positions and monitor daily Value at Risk and other risk-related measures.Reconcile broker and other external statements related to transactions.Provide management with daily Profit and Loss and pricing information.Handle Electronic Funds Sources and other clearing transactions.Support the development and execution of the trade capture platform in collaboration with the IT Team.Develop ad-hoc reports using SQL and Power BI.Create Excel-based ad-hoc reports and automate them using macros.Essential Skills3 years of experience in a related role.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python.Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Math, or a related field.Excellent communication skills.Detail-oriented and collaborative.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in commodities trading and derivatives.Knowledge in financial reporting and transaction documentation.Understanding of risk assessment and financial risk in banking.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
