As Jackson’s largest venue, Snow King Resort Hotel offers over 20,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor function space. Featuring 203 guest rooms and vacation luxury condo rentals. Overview The cleanliness and enjoyment of a hotel/resorts recreational areas is one of the main reasons guests return and recommend our hotel to friends and family. It goes without saying that the experience a guest has while enjoying the pool environment and outdoor activities is one of the most memorable parts of their stay. We are looking for individuals with tremendous personalities, great attention to detail to join our team as Tour Guide/Adventure Center Coordinator. The ideal candidate creates a memorable experience for our guests through their attention to detail and care they take in ensuring the guest experience is next to none. A great individual who can make memories for guests that will last a lifetime! Job Responsibilities: Acts as concierge and assists Snow King Resort guests with any inquiries about the resort and surrounding areas of Jackson Assists front desk staff with any bell service needs upon request Communicates offerings and plans itineraries for guests with excursions offered by vendors of Snow King Resort Adventure Center in collaboration with reservations team Promotes Snow King Adventure Tours to all guests, and on occasion delivers tours (separate job description below) Delivers nightly resort activity offerings determined in advance by Adventure Center Manager Uses platforms such as FareHarbor, Maestro, and Microsoft to complete excursion bookings and log all confirmations and pricing with accuracy Answers phone lines in Adventure Center and responds to voicemails in a timely manner Replies to emails addressed to concierge mailbox in a timely manner Assists in inventory management of all Adventure Center supplies, including those for Adventure Tours and nightly resort activites Maintains knowledge of regional happenings within Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, Snow King Mountain Resort and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and surrounding areas “Be the difference” with all guests and employees and do more than just the norm Tour Guide Responsibilities: Lead tours of Snow King Resort guests with enthusiasm and energy Identify the wildlife, while sharing knowledge of flora, fauna, geology, history, and conservation efforts of the region Prepares tour materials, including assembling food and drinks, materials, optics, and safety equipment, etc. Follow all safety guidelines and ensuring guests remain in control and compliance with all agreed upon requirements from Snow King Resort and National Park Service Record and report and unusual instances or violations of safety guidelines Work in coordination with Adventure Center to ensure smooth handling of guests before and after tours Strong ability to work well with a variety of clients Maintain tour vehicles, including regular checks and cleanings, reporting any issues to be addressed Qualifications Skills and Qualifications: Flexible availability to meet the dynamic needs of the role. The position may require occasional shifts in hours or days, depending on business requirements. Being adaptable to varying schedules is key for this role. Excellent Communication: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and engagingly to diverse groups. Knowledgeable: A deep understanding of the area’s history, culture, and attractions. Ability to quickly learn new information. Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and approachable with the ability to engage people from different backgrounds. Customer Service: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage different types of customers, providing excellent service. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time efficiently and keep tours on schedule. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, sometimes in varying weather conditions. Approved Driving Record and ability to obtain D.O.T certification.
