Total Rewards Specialist

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

As a Total Rewards Specialist, you are responsible for. 

Implement, communicate, and monitor compensation and rewards programs aligned with the Global Total Rewards framework across AUNZ. 

Deliver global and local compensation initiatives for all relevant employee groups. 

Support global rewards processes including Annual Salary Review, budget planning, and salary structure updates; conduct compensation analyses such as equal pay reviews. 

Ensure local compliance with Total Rewards guidelines and documentation. 

Recommend updates to compensation-related policies, procedures, and forms. 

Govern local compensation data to align with global standards and ensure system readiness for rewards delivery. 

Analyze employee data and compensation trends to inform actions. 

Support HR in consistently applying compensation practices. 

Advise HR on exceptions to standard compensation guidelines. 

Conduct Total Rewards training for HR, managers, and employees. 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH​​ 

The Total Rewards Specialist collaborates closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including HR team, Function Managers, as well as Regional and Global Total Rewards. They partner with HR to ensure consistent application of compensation practices, provide guidance on offers outside standard guidelines, and support the delivery of global and local rewards processes.

Subject matter experts on market policies and practices​ and ability to analysis market data 

We are looking for people with… 

Experience having worked with applicable strategies and plans related to base compensation, benefits, rewards, variable pay, job roles framework etc. 

Excellent stakeholder management skills. 

Strong planning & Organizing skills. 

Advanced proficiency in Excel with the ability to visualise and analyse data. 

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance or related discipline required or equivalent work experience. 

Previous experience working with compensation programs.
