Responsibilities:
Supervise monthly payroll operation in Japan while ensuring procedures are adhered to legal requirements and company regulations
Oversee and manage the delivery of day-to-day HR operations, ensuring operational accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness (i.e. manage on-boarding kit, create new joiner profile in HRIS)
Ensure excellent record-keeping processes to ensure compliance with all relevant policies & procedures
Accountable for managing new payroll process changes, including but not limited to attendance system implementation, payroll vendor management, and payroll system enhancements.
Analyze internal and external market data to develop recommendations that align Total Rewards solutions with global strategy and local requirements
Design & implement benefits harmonization across brands to ensure consistency, equity, and cost effectiveness
Assist in ad hoc tasks and other HR related projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline
At least 5 years solid working experience ideally in global/ multinational company
Advanced change experience using frameworks and ability to influence teams to identify and drive through organizational change
Outstanding problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think strategically and act decisively and provide sound recommendations
Strong self-management capabilities in working with remote manager / teams in different countries
Fluent in English and Japanese
