Job Description
The Toolmaker will be primarily responsible for troubleshooting and repairing dies for presses, as well as inspecting, repairing, and testing damaged molds, dies, springs, and punches. This role involves setting up and operating CNC Bridgeport Mills and Lathes, fabricating tooling components, and performing maintenance on various equipment.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair dies for presses.Inspect, repair, and test damaged molds, dies, springs, and punches.Set up and operate CNC Bridgeport Mills and Lathes.Fabricate tooling components and fit and assemble components into production tooling and fixtures.Perform maintenance on furnaces, core builders, pneumatic cylinders, crimpers, and injection mold machines.Design and build jigs and fixtures.Perform CNC setup, tool changes, and offsets.TIG or MIG weld components as needed.Interpret blueprints and make machine adjustments based on prints.Essential SkillsAbility to set up, operate, and perform tool changes and offsets on CNC mills or lathes.Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.Capability to interpret blueprints and make machine adjustments based on prints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with laser welding.Familiarity with Bridgeport-specific equipment.Injection mold experience.Tool and Die certifications.Injection mold certifications.Why Work Here?
