**Job Title: Toolmaker** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker with over two years of proven experience in an industrial setting to join our team in Antioch, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing needs, reading blueprints, and machining necessary components using a variety of CNC machines. You will play a crucial role in the repair and fabrication of dies and tools according to engineering specifications. **Responsibilities** + Assess needs and read blueprints to determine necessary machining operations. + Operate a variety of CNC machines to fabricate and repair tools. + Repair dies to specifications by interpreting engineering drawings. + Use machining operations and equipment to build or repair tools. + Troubleshoot and maintain tool and die equipment. + Conduct manual machining operations including lathe and mill work. + Ensure precise fabrication and repair through surface grinding and stamping. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in tool and die, toolmaking, and machining. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Proficiency in repair, installation, and troubleshooting of molds. + Experience with mills, lathes, and surface grinding. + Expertise in manual machining, die maintenance, and blueprint reading. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + Completion of a two-year trade school diploma is preferred. + Proficiency in programming CNC machines and operating manual lathe and mill. **Why Work Here?** Join our team for excellent benefits, monthly bonuses, and opportunities for career advancement. The facility is noisy, supporting 178 employees and 70 temporary staff across three shifts. The shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6:30am. The tooling team comprises 13 members.
