Tooling Technician
**Job Title: Tooling Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Tooling Repair Technician in the injection mold department. You will play a critical role in maintaining molds for automotive injection molding, ensuring they operate efficiently to produce interior components for the automotive industry. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance on injection molds. + Conduct production tool repair on molds with tonnages ranging from 900lbs to 2500 tons. + Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic ejection, hydraulic lines, and core signals in hydraulic cylinders. + Diagnose and repair valve gates within molds. + Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair up to 120v and 240v. + Test OHM's and operate volt meters to assess connections to the mold. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of production tool repair in injection mold. + Hydraulic maintenance and repair experience. + Experience with injection molding machinery. + 2+ years of experience working with Hot Runners. + 1+ year of standard electrical troubleshooting and repair. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to test OHM's and operate volt meters. + Experience in diagnostic testing and grinding. + Knowledge of tooling, tool and die maintenance. **Why Work Here?** Be part of an exciting new project that is expanding the plant's operations, bringing in a lot of work and creating opportunities for growth. **Work Environment** Work in a clean and organized industrial automotive environment.
