**Job Title: Tool Room Supervisor** **Job Description**
Oversee all activities related to the design, maintenance, and repair of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process. Lead a team of skilled tool and die makers and machinists to ensure production efficiency, quality standards, and safety regulations are consistently met.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise, train, and mentor a team of tool and die makers and related staff, coordinating daily workloads and prioritizing tasks to meet production deadlines.
+ Ensure proper design, construction, modification, and repair of tooling, including troubleshooting complex die and tooling issues and interpreting engineering blueprints and CAD designs.
+ Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality control to address issues, implement process improvements, and support new product development.
+ Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards, conduct regular inspections, and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment.
+ Manage inventory of spare parts, order necessary supplies, and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and machinery.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement Lean Manufacturing principles.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5 years of experience in tool and die maintenance and repair
+ 2 years of supervisory experience
+ Experience in die maintenance and repair utilizing blueprints
+ Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience utilizing CAD/CAM software

This role is set within a very loud manufacturing environment, requiring comfort with noise. The facility operates with 900 total employees.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
