Tool Room Manager Urgently Hiring
We are looking for a Tool Room Manager with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in forklift operation and inventory management. This role requires someone who can manage the inventory in the Parts Room, respond to visual management systems, and ensure efficient parts order fulfillment for both internal and external customers. **Responsibilities** + Oversee inventory management in the Parts Room. + Fulfill parts orders for internal and external customers. + Check in chassis upon arrival and manage associated documentation. + Conduct and manage the annual physical inventory. + Participate in company Kaizen events and facility 5S activities. + Prepare parts and equipment for upcoming jobs, ensuring readiness prior to truck builds. + Deliver materials to appropriate work centers, departments, or personnel. + Return parts from carts that have passed through the QC bay back into inventory. + Process inventory adjustments and resolve discrepancies. + Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment for material handling. + Schedule LTL and UPS shipments for outbound materials. + Receive and stage all incoming UPS and LTL materials. + Process rejected materials according to IRM procedures. **Essential Skills** + Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office products. + Strong organizational, detail, and follow-up skills. + Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. + Capability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment confidently. + Comfortable with heavy lifting and working outside. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
