**Job Title: Tool Maker** **Job Description** This role involves supporting the preventative maintenance and building and assembly of all Plastic Injection Molds and components, along with any jigs or fixtures necessary for production or other areas. The position emphasizes the operation and training within specific areas such as EDM, Machining, and Grinding. **Responsibilities** + Train qualified trainees in the safe and proper use of equipment such as EDM - Sinker, Wire, and Hole Popper, Machining Center, Hard Mill, Bridgeport milling machines, and manual grinders, following a development plan. + Prepare molds for production. + Read, interpret, and analyze blueprints; determine required machine operations; and consider the finish requirements for tasks. + Inspect tools for defects and repair them. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Inspect products and select the correct shop equipment, precision measurement devices, and other tools needed for the job. + Perform precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions. + Practice safe machine shop practices and comply with safety standards. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of machining experience + 5+ years of experience working with plastics + 5+ years of experience with tooling experience + Ability to use bobcat programming software **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in blueprint reading + Experience in toolmaking + Maintenance repair expertise + Machinist tool & die skills **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits including healthcare, vision, dental, 401K match, quarterly bonuses, paid time off, and company holidays.
