As a Tool Depot Toolman, your day is all about keeping tools flowing smoothly for our outages across Latin America. You’re hands-on with inventory management, ensuring kits are complete and certified for our gas turbine maintenance. This role plays a critical part in supporting outage readiness by coordinating tool replenishment, supervising kit replacements, implementing inventory plans, and keeping stakeholders updated on tool availability using our Tool Control and Tracking Platform. You will work closely with the Latin America Tool Depot Service Engineer to keep operations on track.
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
+ Boost outage readiness by leading tool inventory coordination by ensuring kit availability for outages, managing overall inventory levels, and developing plans based on outage forecasts.
+ Streamline inventory & compliance by managing stock levels, updating inventory status, and ensuring certification compliance for durable tools and equipment by following established policies.
+ Improve kit availability by coordinating kit replacements, monitor tool usage, minimize unavailability, and optimize tool allocation across outages and projects.
+ Optimize logistics to assess and coordinate all transportation needs, managing requirements for tooling mobilization and demobilization.
+ Drive data-driven decisions by providing weekly updates on kit status (partial, in job, available) to the Tool Depot Service Engineer, enabling informed operational decisions.
+ Strengthen safety & efficiency by maintaining safe warehouse operations, ensure protocol and chemical‑handling compliance, and manage tool receipt and replenishment by coordinating materials, restocking, and updating inventory records.
**What You Bring**
+ 2+ years’ experience handling tooling, supported by a solid technical education, with a proven ability to manage tool inventory, coordinate replenishment, and ensure certification compliance.
+ Strong operational and logistics capabilities, including coordinating tool flow, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and consistently meeting deadlines.
+ Highly detail‑oriented approach to tracking inventory, certifications, and kit status to maintain accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
+ A proactive, problem‑solving professional with a focus on optimizing tool management and driving continuous improvement, while maintaining a safety‑focused, collaborative, and adaptable work style committed to enforcing EHS protocols, safely handling chemicals, working effectively with engineers and supervisors, and supporting dynamic outage readiness needs.
+ Intermediate fluency in Spanish to support cross‑regional communication.
+ Ability to travel 5% domestically and internationally.
