We are seeking a 1st shift Lead Tool Crib Technician who will take charge of the tool crib and lead the restructuring of the department. The successful candidate will organize inventory, implement lean processes, and ensure both digital and physical harmony. Responsibilities include repairing hand and power tools, making air hoses and fittings, calibrating equipment, and performing ladder inspections and repairs. You will also manage tool tracking using Microsoft Excel and Outlook, oversee tools sent for warranty repairs, and organize new tools in the inventory system.

ResponsibilitiesOwn and restructure the tool crib department.Organize and manage inventory efficiently.Implement lean processes for streamlined operations.Repair hand and power tools, including air hoses and fittings.Calibrate equipment and perform ladder inspections and repairs.Use Microsoft Excel & Outlook to track tools and communicate with vendors.Ensure tools are set up in the inventory system and organized in designated areas.Issue tools to plants and facilities as needed.Essential Skills3+ years of leadership experience in roles such as group leader or supervisor.3+ years of experience with inventory management systems and lean principles.3+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Outlook.5+ years of industrial tool crib maintenance and repair experience.5+ years of experience repairing various hand and power tools.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and vendors.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in revamping tool cribs to be organized both physically and digitally.Willingness to be social and collaborative with team members and internal employees.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work on a 900-acre campus with ongoing expansion projects. You will be assigned a work truck for campus duties, with no requirement to take it home. Training is individualized, supported by maps and radio communication. The role is stationed in the maintenance building's tool crib, with tools provided and resources readily available. The work culture emphasizes proper fixes over temporary solutions, with performance evaluated on job recall frequency.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.
