**Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant**
**Job Description**
The Tool Crib Technician is responsible for receiving, storing, assembling kits, and issuing hand tools, machine tools, materials, and equipment essential for manufacturing processes. This role includes organizing tools for specific jobs, maintaining records of tools issued and returned, and ensuring inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble kits of tools for specific jobs according to instructions.
+ Issue tools and equipment to workers, maintaining detailed records of transactions.
+ Prepare periodic inventory or maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
+ Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment; requisition stock to replenish inventory from the tooling lead.
+ Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear, reporting any issues to supervisors.
+ Deliver tools or equipment to workers as needed.
+ Mark and identify tools and equipment for easy recognition and tracking.
+ Maintain order and cleanliness of the tool crib.
+ Adhere to all safety guidelines, using proper safety equipment and procedures.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with inventory control, tool crib operations, and materials handling.
+ Proficient in using hand working tools (hammers, squares, scales, etc.).
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Mechanical aptitude with good manual dexterity.
+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
+ Dependable and responsible with strong attention to detail.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Basic skills in MS Access, Excel, and keyboarding.
+ Ability to perform mathematical calculations using a calculator.
+ Understanding of the American standard decimal and fraction system.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task under deadlines.
+ Good people skills and the ability to deal with multiple internal customers simultaneously.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to follow shifting priorities.

**Work Environment**
This position is based in a machine shop that manufactures structural parts for aerospace. The role primarily involves working outdoors, requiring the ability to withstand various weather conditions. **Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
