Tool Crib Attendant - 1st Shift - 20-22

Title - Tool Crib Attendant - $20-$22/HR

Description

This is a first shift position, M-F with daily OT and Saturdays as needed to meet customer demands. We make every effort to notify employees of overtime requirements in advance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•\tReceives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools, equipment, and materials

•\tIssues tools, fixtures, jaws, materials, and equipment

•\tWork directly with materials handlers to make sure correct materials are pulled for job

•\tMaintains records of tools/equipment issued and returned

•\tLocates lost or misplaced tools/equipment

•\tWork with vendors that manage inventory on site to communicate issues or areas for improvement

•\tMaintain inventory of fixtures and jaws for jobs

•\tInspects tools and equipment for defects and wear, reports damage/wear to Machining Supervisor

•\tMay deliver tools/equipment using hand truck or powered industrial truck

•\tMay mark and identify tools and equipment using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool

•\tFollow 5S and FIFO procedures when stocking materials

•\tPhysically implementing or rearranging storeroom, including labeling of bins

•\tPerforming various daily computer activities such as, inputting daily transactions, inventory set up/maintenance, generating reports, working on spreadsheets, and timely responses to all e-mails

Additional requirements:

•\tHigh School Degree or Equivalent

•\tBasic computer understanding including updating information in ERP and databases, e-mail, and Word documents

•\tRead measuring tools

•\tLift up to 50 pounds

•\tWork overtime as needed

•\tUse calipers for inspection

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
