In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding tools to ensure high performance and minimal downtime in production. Will be working in tooling department on 3rd shift as a tool room technician (toolmaker). Will be using CNC machines and welding equipment to repair molds for plastic injection and blow molding machines to compliment the maintenance team's efforts.

3-5 years of tool maker experience. injection molding experience is preferred. manual machining, tig welding, and disassemble and assemble dies and do PM's. \n\n•\tPerform repair, maintenance, and preventive care on injection molds\n•\tDiagnose and correct issues such as flash, short shots, and mold wear\n•\tDisassemble, clean, polish, and reassemble mold components\n•\tOperate tool room machinery including mills, grinders, and lathes\n•\tCollaborate with production and engineering teams to solve tooling issues\n•\tMaintain accurate repair logs and maintenance records\n•\tEnsure molds are properly stored, protected, and labeled\n•\tUphold all safety and quality standards in the tool room environment\n•\t2+ years of experience in mold repair, tool & die, or precision machining\n•\tStrong knowledge of injection mold tooling, hot runner systems, and cooling circuits\n•\tSkilled with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)\n•\tAbility to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings\n•\tMust be dependable, organized, and a proactive problem solver\n•\tAble to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $72800.00/yr.
