Tool and Die Maker - CNC Operator (4992)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Tool and Die Maker - CNC Operator to join our SAMC back shop team in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling machinesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsSelect and install appropriate tooling and fixturesMonitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiencyPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipmentConduct quality inspections using precision measuring instrumentsCollaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentDocument production data and maintain accurate records

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist5+ years of experience in operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.)5+ years of experience in G-code programming and CNC controlsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds on a frequent basisAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksManual dexterity and hand-eye coordination skills working with small partsStrong computing skills, excellent communication skills and customer-orientedAbility to work a variable shift (1st or 2nd)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with CAD/CAM/CATIA softwareAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Summary Starting Pay Rate: $68,700 / $33.03 per hour

Additive Pay:  

$1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification

$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
