The Sr. Tool and Die Maker/CNC Programmer will be responsible for the manufacturing and upkeep of all manufacturing tools and dies for the plant. They will work from work orders, blueprints, and drawings to machine parts to tight tolerances and specifications.
ResponsibilitiesManufacture and maintain manufacturing tools and dies.Utilize machinery such as Prototrak, Surface Grinder, 6040 Haas 5 axis CNC Mill, 2040 Fadal 4 Axis CNC Mill, and Manual Lathe.Perform CNC and manual machining and programming.Carry out CNC programming with GIBBS CAM from Solidworks.Engage in some welding tasks as required.Ensure precision and quality in machining parts.
Essential SkillsExpertise in tool and die making.Proficiency in CNC programming.Experience with CNC and manual machining.Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and drawings.Strong capability to take a print and make a part from start to finish.
Additional Skills & QualificationsJourneyman Tool and Die Papers are highly preferred.10+ years of CNC Programming and Tool and Die Experience.Large Stamping background is a major plus.

Work Environment
This position is located at the main plant, in a well-maintained older facility. The tool and die shop is separate from the plant floor, situated on the top floor. The work environment can be loud and greasy, with machinery requiring hands-on engagement.

The pay range for this position is $69451.00 - $81120.00/yr.
