**Job Title: Tool and Die Maker up to 87k/yr** **Job Description** The primary responsibility of this role is to fabricate and repair tooling used in production processes and prototype development. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of machining techniques across various materials, along with a commitment to equipment upkeep and workplace safety. This position requires the ability to interpret technical drawings and collaborate effectively with team members. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate and repair tooling used in production processes. + Interpret technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication. + Collaborate effectively with team members for seamless operations. + Work on multiple different dies, including intricate multi-station dies. + Problem solve issues with dies and determine effective solutions. + Ensure all progressive dies and parts are timed correctly. + Operate various machines such as shear, punch, manual machines, grinders, and more. **Essential Skills** + 5-7 years minimum machining experience. + Expertise in lathe, Bridgeport miller, surface & OD grinding, CNC mill, CNC lathe, and wire EDM. + Familiarity with Haas, Fanuc, and DMG controls. + CAD/CAM experience, preferably Solidworks and MasterCam or similar. + Multi-axis machining experience, including 4th and 5th axis machining. + Basic TIG welding experience preferred. + General metallurgy knowledge relating to cutting speeds, feeds, and heat treatment of metals. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general prints and specifications. + Good communication skills. + Ability to visualize and plan complete tool build from stock to finished product. + Strong understanding of work holding for machining and safety. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with troubleshooting and repair in a toolroom environment. + Experience with stamping and maintenance repair. + Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy strong team morale with long tenure and benefit from robust medical benefits, including an HRA with generous contributions for individuals and families.
