Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Utility Lead to join our production team in Leola. This role supports multiple departments—including Tooling, Blending, Grinding, and Quality Assurance—and serves as a key player in maintaining production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:Support Tool and Die teams with changeovers and line startupsAssist Maintenance with minor equipment repairsPerform duties of a Lead Operator on day or night shiftsOperate at A, B, and C Operator levelsMonitor line readiness and adjust extruder heat for quality outputMaintain and configure INK JET printersProvide breaks for line operators and ensure continuous productionComplete Production Pre-Start Checklists and manage full line startupsOrganize and store tooling properlyPromote safe work habits and a positive team cultureSelect appropriate silos and materials for productionAssist with onboarding and training of new production hiresParticipate in daily process improvement initiativesCross-trained to support Blending/Grinding and QA Technician rolesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredMust be qualified at the A Operator levelStrong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitudeAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use handsMust be able to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionallyVisual acuity requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $69721.60 - $69721.60/yr.
Medical/Dental/Vision – eligible on day 1
Vacation eligible first year (pro-rated); second year 80 hours (willing to negotiate vacation in offer)
Floating Holiday eligible first year (pro-rated); second year 24 hours
Paid Holidays (time and half for all hours worked on Company observed federal holiday)
401K matching up to 4%; annual employer contribution 3% (if employee contributes 4%, Westlake will match that plus the 3% they already contribute. Total of 11%)
Quarterly Incentive Program – earn up to 8% of quarterly earnings (includes OT)
Annual Profit Sharing up to 5% of annual base pay
Life Insurance - employer cover up to 2x base pay
AD&D insurance - employer cover up to 2x base pay
Paid Caregiver Leave – up to 5 days per year for Caregiver Leave (i.e. taking eligible family member to doctor’s appointment); up to 2 weeks per year for Parental Leave
Paid Short-term and Long-term Disability
Quarterly Steak Cookout (if no OSHA recordable incidents)
