Job Description
As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for crafting injection mold dies, assisting with Mastercam programming, and setting up and operating Haas Mills and EDM Machines. You will primarily engage in repairing dies from inception to completion, ensuring a variety of tasks each day to keep your work dynamic and engaging.
ResponsibilitiesBuild molds, fixtures, or related tools and complete tooling repairs and revisions.Set up and operate toolroom equipment to build, repair, revise, and service molds, fixtures, and related tools efficiently.Proficiently program, set up, and operate CNC machines using Mastercam.Ensure assigned projects are completed within quoted time and material limits, communicating any expected delays or budget variances.Complete and maintain department-related paperwork or electronic data in an orderly and timely manner.Plan and lay out work using CAD models and drawings.Design and create CAD models or drawings for mold components and related tools as needed.Troubleshoot mechanical mold problems.Prepare tooling components for outside vendor services.Order components for departmental needs as requested.Essential SkillsProficiency in Mastercam programming and CNC mill programming.Experience in building, repairing, revising, and servicing plastic injection molds, fixtures, and related tools.Minimum 4 years of experience in plastic injection mold making.Ability to program 3-axis CNC mills from solid CAD models.Additional Skills & QualificationsTrade school graduate in toolmaking/machining technology or 5 years of CNC programming and machining experience.Solid modeling and complex 3-D programming experience are highly desirable.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Join a smaller company with a close-knit team of 36 people across three shifts. You will be part of a team of 4-5. The regular hours are Monday to Thursday, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Overtime may be required, and work hours might be adjusted to meet tooling requirements. The majority of the work is conducted in a machine shop setting, with some travel to vendor sites and occasional heavy lifting required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
