We are seeking skilled Tool & Die Machinists to join our 2nd shift team. This position requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in machining operations.
ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain CNC machines for various machining processes.Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to determine machining requirements.Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of machined parts.Set up and operate Bridgeport type mills.Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.Cut, shape, and form metal parts using manual drill press, lathes, power saws, snips, files, sand blasters, surface grinders, and mallets.Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Essential SkillsProficiency in using and reading micrometers and calipers.Experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery and processes.Knowledge of Bridgeport, CNC mill, machining, tooling, die repair, manual mill, and manual machining.3+ years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Haas machines.Experience with die maintenance and repair.Ability to use a variety of hand tools including precision tools.

Work Environment
The position involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment and mechanical parts. Employees are required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Must be capable of lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Visual requirements include close focus, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. The shift operates from 2:30pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday, consisting of four 10-hour shifts.
