**Job Title: CNC/Tool and Die Apprentice**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated CNC/Tool and Die Apprentice to join our team. This role will begin with working as a machinist on lathes, producing parts for major automotive companies, and will eventually lead into a tool and die position.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts for major automotive manufacturers.
+ Perform multiple setups each day, including 3-5 setups on hard turning lathes.
+ Edit and modify programs using blueprint reading and Fanuc controls.
+ Engage in conversational programming.
+ Conduct inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years experience in a job shop environment.
+ Proficiency in CNC lathe operations.
+ PLC knowledge and setup experience.
+ Ability to use micrometers and calipers effectively.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Programming experience is a plus.
+ Forklift operation skills are desirable.

**Work Environment**
This position is for the 1st shift, with working hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on precision manufacturing in a well-equipped facility.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BROADVIEW, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
