We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in Huger, SC. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC machines to fabricate, repair, and modify tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure precision and accuracy.Perform close-tolerance machining and grinding operations.Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.Troubleshoot and repair worn or damaged tooling to restore functionality.Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support manufacturing operations.Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; completion of a machinist or tool & die apprenticeship program preferred.5+ years of experience in tool and die making or precision machining in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with manual lathes, mills, surface grinders, and CNC equipment.Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.Experience with tool steels, heat treatment, and machining hardened materials.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently on 2nd shift with minimal supervision. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
