Job Title: Title Clerk Job Description
The License and Title Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of licensing support functions, including mail distribution, invoice payment, title management, and maintaining electronic files.
Responsibilities
+ Identify, quality check, scan, and file vehicle titles and registrations.
+ Prepare titles for sale and mail to purchaser/vendor.
+ File and pay vehicle registration-related taxes.
+ Use data, metrics, and reports to prioritize daily workload, select vendors, and identify issues before they impact the customer.
+ Scan and index multiple documents to maintain electronic vehicle files.
+ Research missing titles, take appropriate action to obtain them, and track status until the title is secured.
+ Obtain duplicate and corrected titles.
+ Follow up with customers for missing registration information.
+ Occasional external customer contact to provide transaction status and address licensing-related questions.
+ Assist with registration renewals on an annual basis through Dealertrack.
+ Work from home and in-office as determined by company leadership. This includes using company-provided equipment, securely storing and transporting documents and other licensing materials, and traveling locally to the post office, shipping vendors, and DMV locations.
+ Other duties and projects as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ One year of license and title experience.
+ Administrative support and licensing support.
+ Mail distribution and invoice payments.
+ Title management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness to become a notary and obtain necessary state training for license and title.
+ 2+ years of experience in administrative support.
+ 2+ years of experience in license & title support functions in the state of PA.
+ 2+ years of experience in supporting billing and collections.
Work Environment
The position requires working five days onsite in Hatboro, PA. The role is set in a team environment and reports into the Director. The company fosters a friendly and easy-going work environment where the team often participates in activities such as Phillies games, potlucks, and picnics.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Hatboro, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
